Why Do We Have Pink Vehicles?
Jeff Gamblin, owner of Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Services says he wanted to do something to help out our community, so a portion of the proceeds of each service call that we go to in one of these vehicles is donated to the American Cancer Society.
To date, we have donated over $30,000 to the organization!
Recently expanded to 4 pink vehicles, they join a fleet of more than 45 tiger striped vehicles, which support more than 15,000 service calls in the area each year. “We know that almost everyone knows somebody that has been affected by cancer, and we wanted to do our part to help bring awareness to this disease,” said Gamblin.
“The funds donated from these vehicles are helping the American Cancer Society to create a world with more birthdays,” said Community Development Manager, Alissa Fuhrmann.
“Because of Tiger’s commitment to finish the fight against cancer, the American Cancer Society is able to ensure patients have transportation to and from treatment, provide free lodging for both patients and caregivers, fund life-changing cancer research, and so much more.”
